Kaung Bakery (Myanmar)

Summary

Kaung Bakery is a Myanmar food brand producing quality breads and cakes, running its own delivery fleet across three cities — Yangon, Bago, and Mandalay — distributing to convenience stores and recollecting expired bread for animal feed processing. We built a delivery management system consisting of a Staff Android App for tracking truck location and stock management, and a Web Dashboard for admins to monitor and track products. The Android app, built with React Native, tracks truck location through a background job that polls the API on a 30-minute interval, and logs orders taken and payments collected at each convenience store as bread moves from bakery to truck to store. The Web Dashboard, built with Node.js and React, gives admins visibility into this data, backed by a MySQL database.
