Summary
Vegado is a vegan food pre-order system built for the Myanmar market and hosted on AWS. Customers can order from two menu types: a Weekly Menu, where each day of the week features a distinct menu — Monday and Tuesday's offerings are completely different — preorderable from one day up to a full week in advance; and a Special Menu, orderable only one day in advance. The platform also supports weekly subscriptions, letting customers commit to recurring orders with integrated payment handling. Built with React, React Native, Node.js, and MySQL, this was the final project delivered during my time at The Social Craft.
What I Worked On
- Weekly Menu: Distinct menu for each day of the week (Monday and Tuesday menus, for example, are totally different), preorderable from 1 day up to 1 week in advance.
- Special Menu: Limited-availability menu orderable only 1 day in advance.
- Weekly Subscriptions: Recurring order plans for customers.
- Order Management Portal with integrated payment handling.
- Hosted on AWS.
